Wow, two stretch goals unlocked while we slept! That means Hoskins and the Juggernaught are now FREE to all of our core set backers :)
Hoskins and the Juggernaught... there's an 80's TV detective duo if I heard one!
.
TERRAIN
Terrain fans rejoice! We're now unlocking more FREE stuff to build up your sets. First up the backbone of the game, walls...
.
SG9 unlocks at £86K and SG10 runs nimbly behind it at £88K :)
The campaign is really getting into it's stride now but it needs constant coaxing, reassurance and pats on the head.
Our backer support means everything so jump on the forums and let everyone know about us, point your gaming clubs our way, hassle total strangers on the street and don't forget to tell your grandmother, she's totally into it, she told me, honest...
Much love :)
Wayne and Colin.
P.S. we will make the whole Titan Pledge as an add-on at some point, probably soon as we keep getting asked! Also, the Titan mission log will become available as a free PDF sometime after fulfillment so no one will miss out :)
New crew member :)

The Titan pledge has gone down a storm and helped unlock our latest stretch goal :) MAC is now part of your 32mm army.
.
Stretch goal 7 is the Juggernaught at £82K. Big, powerful, probably not an avid reader, he'll brutalise those pesky non combatants no problem!
.
After that we have a brand new crew member, Hoskins. In a sense Hoskins is dimensionally unstable, part of her neural network is melded into the alternative reality of Core Space itself. Both unstable and an excellent close combat fighter it's best not to say the wrong thing to her. Or look at her. Or be doing something else entirely in a different room.
.
Cheers :)

TITAN!!!

THE TITAN ACCORD
The Galactic Corps are trying to route the Purge from the Space Station Titan but they need your help! The traders have agreed to a temporary truce with each other to help the Corps to fight a common enemy.
The Purge are interested in a strange alien infestation and are in no mood to leave!
Hi, guys, today we're going to tell you about our new Titan Pledge. It's basically a big pledge that comes with it's own mission and a whopping discount. But don't mind me, here's Colin to tell you all about it:
.
In short the Titan Pledge consists of:
1 x Boxed game
1 x Cyberpunk Terrain
1 x Add-on K - OUTBREAK!
1 x Add-on L - Shootout at Zed's!
1 x The Titan Accord Mission
All FREE stretch goals
Separately the components on the Kickstarter would cost £145 (with an RRP of £197) but the Titan Pledge has a crazy discount and is priced at £120. No early bird needed here either... it's already a silly deal :) If you were to buy the components separately in retail you would spend an extra £77!
The Titan Pledge will be available very shortly after this update is posted. This saving is a Kickstarter only offer and won't be available in our web shop or retail later!
Cheers :)

You wait all day for an update then two come along at once! We've hit £78K so everyone please welcome Faye into the fold :)
.
Next up is MAC a mere £2K away at £80K. This guy seems to be a fan favourite and very soon he will be yours!
.
Now, let's just have a little squizz at the Orange Banner of FREE-dom:
.
Looking good. And don't forget there's another 9 bonus minis already to join them, 14 minis for doing nothing but looking all handsome and stuff :)
See you soon!

Who's Who - Traders
– Sun, Nov 26, 2017 at 10:57:31 AM
Hi, guys, this will be the first of an occasional series of Who's Who updates that we'll cram in when time allows. First up: the traders!
.
TRADERS
The traders are the heart and soul of the game, your avatars in the Core Space universe. The boxed game comes with two teams, the crew of the Black Maria and of the Ion Hope. Later we hope to unlock others such as the crew of the Skylark.
THE BLACK MARIA
Captained by Jace Dolman, originally pencilled in as a cocky Han Solo type Jace slowly evolved into a more responsible character who was more Captain Mal than Captain Solo.
The burden of keeping his crew alive weighs heavy but he tries not to show it. Jace was partly based on the actor Tom Cruise with a dash of Harrison Ford and a pinch of Nathan Fillion.
.
Jace is ably if not willingly assisted by his technician, Lars, a taciturn middle aged grump who is a whizz with the spanners. In some ways the Technicians are the most important characters in the Core Space universe, they fight entropy and act as a field medic.
Usually the guys with the big guns are favoured but without someone fixing the ship and giving constant updates in the field your team would be dead in the water. Lars has more than a pinch of Dan Dare's Digby about him, capable and loyal but not so handy with a merry quip!
.
Renton is the trouble shooter, the one with the gun, originally he was a standard crew member based on the actor Domhnall Gleeson but he was too young and a bit wet, we needed something more hard edged but not too hard.
The actor Jeremy Renner filled that role nicely, he was a tough guy but still looked like somebody's dad. We gave him a subtle Nordic aspect and a big gun and he was shoved out into the field.
.
THE ION HOPE
The cocky captain role was now filled by Arianna Sabrine, ex-military with a confident air, she knows it could all be over in a blink so it's best to enjoy it now. She tries to be the good guy and has turned down missions that others would jump at. She was partly based on the actress Charlize Theron, in looks and the ballsy roles she plays.
.
Gak is Arianna's gun man, always close by. The Quell have a sad back story with their homeworld being one of the first to be literally destroyed by the Purge. Gak is a quick thinker with a sharp sense of humour.
As all Quell do he refers to himself in the third person, he is aware it is seen as a human affectation but shrugs it off, he knows being large means humans think he's dumb but he's not one to lay all of his cards on the table.
.
Roykirk is in his fifties, an advanced age for a trader. He knows how to survive and you'd best stick by him, kid. Softly spoken, he uses diplomacy when he can but also knows when to shoot a gun. He has adapted many times during his life and has a wide plethora of skills including technician and medic.
.
THE SKYLARK
Captain Weaver is in charge and he lets you know it. He has his thumbs in many pies and will cross the line more than most. Morally grey Weaver will fence stolen goods and run arms, anything to make a profit. But what of his softer side? That's hard as well.
.
In contrast Marlowe tries to do no harm. Many Augmented let the power go to their heads but Marlowe knows it's all a game. He studies the universe, watches it and tries to see where he best fits in. For him this life is a passing moment.
.
Faye is the new recruit, skilled in technology but lacking social graces. At this point in her career she's running with Weaver and wondering whether she should. The trader's life is full of hard choices and it's becoming harder to tell who's right and who's wrong.
.
MAC is tentatively the fourth member of the crew, on extended hire as a mercenary. MAC uses its money to upgrade itself, slowly reaching for an ideal that eludes it. MAC doesn't see humans as a pinnacle of evolution but rather as an interesting but fundamentally ridiculous branch. It wants something else, but is unsure of what.
