Nice work, guys, that's Marlowe who's just docked and is looking for work. He'll be no bother, just point him to his bunk and call on him when needed.
Marlowe was born with just the right genes that make his body compatible with the bio-synthetic augmentations that make him special. The augmented class aren't stronger or faster for the most part but their implants allow them to subtly change their bodies and their surroundings.

So it's Faye next and although she's young and not used to the strains of trader life, she's got a talent for tech that will make her a great choice for any crew.

Hi, guys, we're pleased to unveil our second mission pack, Shootout at Zed's!
A seedy little bar on an armpit world in that dodgy sector your mum warned you about!

The trader's have been hired to retrieve a stolen weapon from notorious bad guy, Zed. The weapon is experimental, volatile and hazardous to the user. Dubbed the 'Mayhem Gun' Zed has (cough) aquired it along with its technical specs and plans to sell both to the highest bidder.
Your traders have tracked Zed down to his 'hideout' a bar with the inconspicuous name of Zed's! You need to find the weapon and destroy the data file.
The bar is a hotbed of tension, who will explode first, the criminals with the over compensating tendencies or the Galactic Corps kicking in the doors and 'keeping the peace' ?
"Pint of the usual, please."
"This is a raid!" "Blimey, it's the rozzers!"
"This is a private party! Get 'em!!!"

Shootout at Zed's comes with a new mission log and new terrain including a VIP lounge, a partition that can be used as both a private room or as a strong room, a funky bar counter, a new weapon token and a wall display. Also seven walls, three struts, one ladder and a floor tile.

Next up we have Marlowe, a thinker, he doesn't talk much but what he says counts. Also about 40% of him is augmented so don't be rude to him in public. Marlowe is up at £76K

Then we have Faye at £78K bolstering those mini numbers :)

And finally at a nice round number sauntering in at £80K is MAC, the machine with a mind of it's own.
I will data process for money. I also have a gun.

We also have terrain and add-ons on the way but for now grab as many of these minis as we can chuck at you! We're currently working on a juicy add-on, another awesome mission pack :)

Stretch goal 2 is down! That means all you lovely core backers get a shiny FREE Zed to go with your game. Lookit those cheeky chappies, Zool with his petty lust for power and nice things and Zed with his occasional murderous binges for laughs. Well they're both now yours!

Well done everyone you've just funded a galaxy of fun and just over 2 days ahead of schedule! £70k is a big sum to ask (normally we only need £21k) so the plan was to fund in the first week and then spend the next 21 days unlocking stretch goals if the funding was with us. So that's the first part done, now to get these stretch goals moving!
First off let's start by unlocking Director Zool, we are going to unlock him right now to say thanks :)

Let's also have a quick look at what you get right from the start over the normal retail boxed Core Space game.
Lots of extra NPC's to flood the tabletop :)

With the bonus minis and Director Zool there's now £36 of free extras making it £120 of RRP over the normal Core Space game... let's see how high we can push that. :oD
We now need to spread the good news as far as possible. 30-40% of our funding comes from sources outside Kickstarter and a lot of that comes from you guys sharing the project, every post you make brings us a new backer and we have 25 days to fill this project with cool stuff... forums, social media, news sites and so on... lets get it moving.
Once again thanks for your support on our 5th Kickstarter and it's only just 96 hours in... almost to the minute as I write this update :o)
